It is native to South America but cultivated in warm regions worldwide. It grows to 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide. It grows in most soils that are well-drained. This cultivar has striking yellow, red, and green foliage. It is edible, with this one being a great substitute for spinach. Also, the fragrance on this one is especially fragrant. Zones 8-11
